Hive Athletic is looking for a friendly, creative, players first teammate to help bring our community to life online
and support our players every step of the way. If you love social media, thrive in fast-paced environments, and

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be one of the main voices of Hive Athletic, online and in the community.

From responding to Instagram DMs to creating hype around leagues and events, you’ll help shape how
players experience Hive from their very first interaction. Every message, post, and response should feel
welcoming, helpful, and unmistakably Hive.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role with room to grow. Perfect for someone excited to build skills across
social media, marketing, and player experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Social Media & Content

  • Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more
  • Respond to comments and DMs with a friendly, on-brand Hive voice
  • Help brainstorm fun, timely content around leagues, events, deadlines, and community moments
  • Use Canva and video tools to create engaging posts and short-form videos

Marketing & Community Promotion

  • Design flyers and promo materials for leagues and events
  • Help promote Hive around town (gyms, bars, partner locations, events)
  • Support on-site marketing at games, tournaments, and happy hours
  • Keep everything aligned with Hive’s Players First values and brand vibe

Player Support & Experience

  • Respond to player questions via email and social channels
  • Share clear info about schedules, rules, weather updates, and policies
  • Help resolve issues with empathy, positivity, and care
  • Flag recurring questions or feedback to Hive leadership
  • Support game-day logistics when needed (shirts, equipment, materials)

THE DETAILS:

  • Full-time, flexible schedule (approx. 40 hours/week)
  • Mix of remote work + 2 nights/weekend days at games/events
  • Must live in the Hoboken / Jersey City area
  • Experience creating and editing dynamic social media posts & videos
  • Must enjoy being around people (this is not a behind-the-scenes-only role)

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

  • $45K–$55K base salary (based on experience)
  • Incentives bringing total potential earnings up to $65K
