Hive Athletic’s leagues, events, and tournaments have limited space, and cancellations impact our ability to plan, organize, and manage incurred costs. If you’re unable to participate, we may transfer your registration to another league within the same season, based on availability.

A player’s or team’s decision not to participate in a registered league is not grounds for a refund. No refunds or credits will be issued within 14 days of the league’s opening day or event date. Additionally, refunds are not provided for reasons such as relocation, changes in work schedules, or injuries.
If Hive Athletic is unable to run a league, event, or tournament as scheduled, we will offer registrants a transfer to a different league, event, or tournament, or provide a full refund upon request.
In some cases, Hive Athletic may delay the start of a league or extend the end of a season. We reserve the right to adjust league start and end dates as necessary, and delayed seasons are not grounds for refunds.
Games may need to be canceled due to factors beyond our control, such as weather or facility availability. If this occurs, Hive Athletic will do its best to schedule makeups by either extending the season or playing multiple games in one session. These decisions will be based on what we feel is best for the league.
We understand that changes in schedules may interfere with outside obligations, and we will do our best to communicate any adjustments in advance. However, schedule changes are not grounds for refunds.
If a league begins but cannot be completed, Hive Athletic will issue prorated credits based on the number of games played.
Participation in recreational sports carries inherent risks, and players assume those risks when joining. Hive Athletic does not issue refunds for players who sustain injuries during a season. Players participate at their own risk, and we do not provide health insurance or cover medical expenses.
We encourage all players to consider their health coverage and personal safety before participating.
